Tui is located on the banks of the Minho River – the natural border between Spain and Portugal – it has spectacular views of both banks. On the other side of the river, you can visit the Portuguese town of Valença do Minho and see its famous fortress.

Padrón is well known for its illustrious writers Camilo José Cela and Rosalía de Castro. Once again, we feel the need to mention a famous food that has made the town’s cuisine renowned far beyond Spanish borders: Padrón peppers. Don't miss the chance to try them but – proceed with caution – as some of them are spicy hot and some of them aren't!
