Package Travel
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, amended by Royal Decree-Law 23/2018, Law 4/2022 on consumer protection, and Law 7/1998 on general contractual conditions.

A combination of at least two travel services for the same trip or holiday, formalized in a single contract.

Travel Service
Passenger transport, accommodation, vehicle rental, or any other tourist service.
C
Travel Contract
Formalization in one or more contracts of all travel services included in the package travel.
D
Start Date
The day on which the execution of travel services included in the contract begins.

Repatriation
The return of the traveller to the place of departure or any other place agreed by the parties.
F
Lack of Conformity
The non-performance or improper performance of travel services included in the contract.
G
Traveller
Any person who intends to enter into a contract or is entitled to travel under such contract.
H
Trader
Any person who acts as organizer, retailer, or travel service provider for travellers.
I
Organizer
A trader who combines and sells or offers package travel directly or together with another trader.
J
Retailer
A trader other than the organizer who sells or offers package travel arranged by an organizer.
K
Minor
Any person under eighteen years of age.
L
Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
Situations beyond control whose consequences could not have been avoided even with reasonable measures.

Important Notes on Package Travel
2.1
Package travel organization
The organization of package travel is carried out by AGENCIA TU BUEN CAMINO, S.L.
2.2
The package travel contract
The agency undertakes to deliver a copy of the package travel contract to the traveller no later than 24 hours after its formalization.
The following shall form an integral part of the contract: the general conditions, pre-contractual conditions, and the agreed particular conditions.
2.3
Price, booking and payment method
Price INCLUDES
All tourist services specified in the "Camino guide"
Commissions, surcharges and additional costs
Assistance in extraordinary circumstances
Assistance for filing complaints
Price DOES NOT INCLUDE
Visas and vaccination certificates
Extras: coffees, wines, spirits, mineral waters, special diets
Spa services, massages, medical treatments
Local tourist taxes (paid directly at hotel)
Airport entry/exit taxes and fees
Booking process

Booking form
Complete and submit the online booking form.

100% payment
Payment of the total trip amount.

Confirmation
The booking will not be considered confirmed until the confirmation email is received.

Camino Guide
15 days before departure you will receive all documentation: services, accommodations and directions.
Bookings with less than 7 days notice
Mandatory payment by card before 12:00 PM on the confirmation day. If the agency cannot confirm, the full amount will be refunded within 12 hours.
2.4
Assistance
The traveller may send messages, requests or complaints directly to the organizer.
Appropriate and prompt assistance in case of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
If return cannot be guaranteed, accommodation costs for up to 3 nights will be covered.
2.5
Contract modification
The contract may be unilaterally modified before the start of the trip, provided that the change is insignificant and the traveller is informed.
Modifications exceeding 8%
If the price increases by more than 8% or main features are modified, the traveller may terminate the contract without penalty.
2.6
Contract transfer
The traveller may transfer the contract to another person who meets the applicable conditions, by notifying with a minimum of 7 calendar days notice.
Both the transferor and the transferee shall be jointly liable for the outstanding payment and any additional costs.
2.7
Payments and refunds
The trip must be fully paid to receive the services.
If the agency terminates the contract, reimbursement will be made within a maximum of 14 calendar days.
The traveller who fails to show up at the scheduled time shall not be entitled to a refund.
The cancellation insurance premium is non-refundable.
2.8
Contract termination by the traveller
Cancellation penalty
100% of the price if cancelled within 15 days before the trip start (30 days for groups of 12 or more people).
Travellers shall be entitled to terminate the contract without penalty and with full refund:
Due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination
If any essential element is significantly modified (except price)
If the agency cancels before the trip starts
In case of substantial non-performance of services
In exceptional security circumstances

2.14
Limitation period for claims
Claims arising from the rights recognized shall be time-barred after two (2) years, counting from the date of contract conclusion.
2.15
Applicable jurisdiction
The parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the traveller's domicile or that of the trader, at the traveller's choice.

General Considerations
3.1
Documentation
All travellers are responsible for having the necessary documentation in order (ID card, passport, visas, health requirements). In case of cancellation due to incorrect documentation, cancellation conditions will apply.
3.2
Luggage transfer service
Backpack transfer is carried out exclusively on walking or cycling stages, never on transport means such as vehicle, train or bus.
Important
The Organization reserves the right to interrupt transport for any passenger causing disturbance. No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to luggage.
