Absolutely! We recommend continuing to stamp your pilgrim credential along the way to Finisterre. This will not only serve as a beautiful keepsake of each stage but will also allow you to obtain the Fisterrana, an official certificate issued at the Finisterre Tourist Office as recognition for completing this additional stage.

If you don’t have your credential yet, don’t worry! At Tubuencamino, we include it as a gift in our welcome pack, ensuring that you can fully enjoy this unique experience.
Finisterre: The westernmost point of the Camino, known as the "end of the world." Tradition includes visiting the lighthouse and enjoying a unique sunset.
Muxía: Holds deep spiritual significance, as it is home to the Sanctuary of the Virgen da Barca, linked to the legend of the Virgin Mary in the Camino.
Private hostels: Available in key points like Negreira, Olveiroa, and Cee.
Visit the Finisterre Lighthouse: The culminating point of the Camino and a perfect place for reflection.
Symbolic burning of clothes or boots: A tradition marking the end of your journey (though now less common for ecological reasons).
Obtain your Fisterrana: A beautiful souvenir of your experience.
Enjoy the sunset: From the lighthouse or the beach, it’s one of the most magical moments.
Yes, there are regular buses between Finisterre and Santiago operating daily, offering an economical way to return to the city. However, if you are looking for a more comfortable and flexible option, Tu Buen Camino offers:

Private transportation back to Santiago: We arrange your transfer in a personalized way, with schedules adapted to your needs.
Door-to-door service: We pick you up at your accommodation in Finisterre and take you directly to your destination in Santiago.
Group or individual options: If traveling in a group, we can also coordinate shared transfers to optimize costs.
Going to Finisterre adds a special layer of symbolism to the Camino de Santiago. It represents not just reaching a physical place but the spiritual closure of a transformative experience. The landscape, tradition, and the feeling of walking towards the sea make this section a golden finale to your pilgrimage.
