    Roncesvalles is one of the most popular starting points for pilgrims who decide to follow the French Way. In this small Pyrenean village, which has only thirty inhabitants, you can enjoy its magnificent medieval architecture, such as the Collegiate Church of Santa María or the Church of Santa María de Roncesvalles.     From Roncesvalles to Zubiri

    Night at Zubiri

    Today's stage runs through lush forests of beech, oak and pine trees. After leaving behind two mountain passes, the steep descent begins towards Zubiri where we can visit its famous medieval bridge: the Puente de la Rabia.

    From Zubiri to Pamplona

    The brevity of this stage has the advantage of gaining time to enjoy Pamplona at your leisure, where we recommend you visit the old quarter, the citadel and the City Hall.

    From Pamplona to Puente de la Reina

    Night at Puente la Reina

    The pace of this stage is set by the Sierra del Perdón, where you will face a slight climb of just 260 m, although with a steeper descent.
    At the top of this mountain range you can stop to contemplate Pamplona and the Pyrenees, and then visit the hermitage of Santa María de Eunate.

    From Puente la Reina to Estella

    This stage is divided into sections that run along an old Roman road and others that follow a national road until you reach Estella, a picturesque town in Navarra that will captivate you with its historic quarter and medieval bridge.

    From Estella To Los Arcos

    Full of ascents and descents, this is a demanding stage that requires tenacity and patience.
    The landscapes you will see along the way will make it well worth the effort, and you will also be able to visit emblematic places such as the Irache Monastery.

    From Los Arcos to Logroño

    Night at Logroño

    27 km

    6 - 7h

    On this section you will leave Navarra to immerse yourself in the land of wine par excellence: La Rioja.
    In Logroño, the capital, you will be able to enjoy its wine culture at its best and taste its incomparable gastronomy.
