Day 1
Vilalba
Night at Vilalba
Make the most of the first day of this adventure and enjoy the many charms of Vilalba, such as its famous Torre de los Andrade or its picturesque old town.
This land is also famous for its artisan milks and cheeses, so don't leave here without tasting these delicacies.
Day 2
From Vilalba to Baamonde

It' s time to get going, and what better way to start the route than discovering the forests and agricultural landscapes of the Terra Chá region until you reach Baamonde.
Day 3
From Baamonde to Sobrado dos Monxes
Night at Sobrado dos Monxes

Do not leave Baamonde without visiting the Church of Santiago, which is closely linked to the Apostle.
Afterwards, you will continue your route towards Miraz, delving into the more rural Galicia.
Day 4
From Sobrado dos Monxes to Arzúa

Don’t miss out on the Santa Maria Monastery while in Sobrado de Monxes, a true jewel of Cistercian art, but don't linger too long because it's time to continue on your way to Arzúa, known as "the land of cheese".
Day 5
From Arzúa to O Pino

This stage of the route begins with a descent that runs through magical forests and streams that create an idyllic landscape. This is quite an easy section, so you may like to take the opportunity to visit the Chapel of Santa Irene and the Church of Santa Eulalia de O Pedrouzo.
Day 6
From O Pino to Santiago De Compostela
Night at Santiago de Compostela

When you leave O Pino, you will head towards the end of your journey via Lavacolla. You will then journey to Monte do Gozo, where you will be able to glimpse the towers of the cathedral on the horizon. You will arrive in Santiago through the neighbourhood of San Lázaro, winding down towards the historic city centre, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, until you reach Plaza Obradoiro, where you will finally see the Cathedral of Santiago from up close. If you like and managed to get an early start, you can attend the pilgrim's mass, celebrated at 12 noon.
